The dSolar 2W System includes one 9V solar panel, providing approximately 250 mA, enough to power the NXT and a single motor in direct sunlight. Also includes one dSolar Power Cord and one dSolar NXT Adapter.

STEP 1: Build the 5-Minute Bot. Step by step instructions on how to build it.Â
STEP 2:Â Throw the batteries out. Or at least put them to the side. You don't need them with the dSolar!Â
STEP 3:Â Build the solar chassis. This will hold the solar panel up. See pictures to the right.Â
STEP 4:Â Attach the solar chassis to the NXT.Â
STEP 5:Â Build the electrical: now we will hook up the electrical power to the robot.Â
STEP 6:Â Attach the capacitor bank.Â
STEP 7:Â Prepare the solar panel.Â
STEP 8:Â Attach the solar panel to the robot.Â
